Veterans Day Parade

Come on out and pay tribute to our military veterans who fought for our freedom on Veterans Day by attending this annual parade in downtown Brighton. A grand ceremony will take place at the Mill Pond with speakers after the parade.

Holiday Glow & Christmas Market

The Holiday Glow & Christmas Market has something for everyone! A Kids area, carriage rides, hot cocoa, reindeer sightings, and local performances provide plenty of excitement while guests wait for Santa. Santa and Mrs. Claus make their way down Main Street to join the Mayor of the City of Brighton. The Mayor gives Santa the key to the city so Santa "can get into all the homes on Christmas Eve!" Santa will then magically light up the Mill Pond.

Brighton Farmers’ Market

Every Saturday (rain or shine) from May through October ~ 8am -to- 1pm

The market features foods sold directly by farmers to consumers. Plant nurseries and food vendors are also featured. The market has an artisan focus and features arts and crafts from local talent. The Market is located in the City’s Municipal Parking Lot located at 200 N. First Street .

Memorial Day Parade

Join the community in honoring and celebrating those who have served for the Brighton Memorial Day Parade. The parade will start at Brighton High School and move east on Main Street making its way towards the Mill Pond. After the parade, there will be a ceremony given by different speakers at AMP to honor the veterans who have served us. Come out and help the Brighton community remember and celebrate these veterans.

Turn Up The AMP! Live Music Series

Second Wednesday of the month from June through September ~ 7pm -to- 8:30pm

Lake Trust Credit Union presents Turn Up The AMP! a 2 Stones Events live music series at the Mill Pond Amphitheater. The free concerts are open to the public; bring a lawn chair or enjoy The AMP’s seating. Each concert includes a food drive for the Livingston County Hunger Council, and attendees are asked to please bring a non-perishable food item to donate; canned vegetables are needed! Of course, monetary donations will gladly be accepted as well. The concert schedule is June 14 – The Sugarees; July 12 – Barelyon; Aug. 9 – Motor City Josh & The Big Three; and Sept. 13 – Steve Taylor Three.

Smokin’ Jazz & BBQ Blues Festival

The Smokin' Jazz & Barbecue Blues Festival includes a variety of vendors with delicious smoked and grilled foods like ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, pork tenderloin, mac and cheese, and more. A beer tent with local brew and live jazz and blues music will fill the festival area with glorious melodies. A free children’s area will be provided where the Boy Scouts of America will engage the children in interactive games. There will also be a 65 foot blow up obstacle course, cornhole tournament, and bingo tent.
